A fabric jewelry box

From a pattern by Anni Downs at Hatched and Patched
Jewelly Boxb Jewellry Boxa

The lace is some of my hand made bobbin lace. (you can’t see the mistakes while it is tumbling out of the box!!!)

Sewn in Time

Sewn in Time1…for what? This would have to be one of the quickest patterns that An and I have ever done. In fact, An did all the cutting then came back to the shop on Monday when we are closed, so we could use the floor space to set it out. Doesn’t it look great?

A weekend with friends

DSC00069… produces masterpieces, especially as it has taken me nearly three years to get to this stage. It has now been basted ready for quilting and must be finished by May 2012 for my godson’s birthday.

DSC00074Having reached the stage of not much else I can do, what do you do but get on with another project. this one is a pattern called “Snow Days” by Crabapple Hill designs. I just love the smoldering colours and the stitcheries are delicious!

The new year

Next projectAnd sew a new project begins… with new fabrics. Aren’t they just divine? It is a range called “Covent Garden” by Benartex Fabrics. We are going to use a pattern designed by Lynne Wilson called “Sewn in Time”

Christmas wishes

And have you finished all the projects that should be wrapped under the tree? I haven’t, but we are celebrating on Boxing Day, so I have some time up my sleeve! Merry Christmas to all and a very Happy New Year!
